Music becomes a bridge for climate action as cultural creativity meets carbon credit innovation
TAIPEI, Taiwan, October 27, 2025 — A unique convergence of music, technology, and sustainability took centre stage as ECHO TREE GROUP INC. officially launched the Echo Tree Project, an international initiative uniting global musicians and enterprises to advance environmental restoration and carbon credit development through creative collaboration.
The project, which aims to “make music the Earth’s most beautiful sound,” integrates cultural creativity with digital innovation to create a powerful platform for corporate climate action and ecological regeneration. By combining the emotional resonance of art with measurable impact in the carbon economy, the initiative reimagines how collective creativity can help drive the green transition.
A Symphony of Sustainability
At the event themed “Corporate Response: Save the Earth with Music,” leaders from across industries showcased their commitment to climate action. ADATA Technology Co., Ltd. Chairman Simon Chen led with a donation of 10,000 Echo Tree seedlings, joined by C-Media Cultural Creative Technology Inc., ABONMAX Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Autoware Science & Technology Co., Ltd., each contributing an additional 10,000 seedlings. The Moon Group and Sunrise Environmental Technology Inc. also joined the movement, bringing total donations to over 60,000 trees — each a living symbol of hope for a greener planet.
The seedlings will form dedicated forests — including the ADATA Forest, C-Media Forest, Autoware Forest, The Moon Forest, ABONMAX Forest, and Sunrise Environmental Forest — all showcased on the Echo Tree digital platform. These forests will be featured at major concerts and cultural events, combining art and ecology to amplify environmental awareness while enhancing participating companies’ sustainability profiles.
“The Echo Tree Project transforms environmental awareness into an artistic and social movement,” said Sam Kao, Founder and President of ECHO TREE GROUP INC. “We are using music as a bridge to unite enterprise, creativity, and climate responsibility — creating a digital ecosystem where every note played can plant a seed of hope.”
Music as the Earth’s Smile
A highlight of the launch was the premiere of the project’s theme song, “Echo Tree,” composed by Sam Kao with lyrics by Kevin Yi, who also co-founded the initiative. Featuring performances by Huang Kuo-lun and Coco Ko Nai-hsin, the song captures the project’s poetic mission of harmony between art and environment. Yi — also the lyricist behind JJ Lin’s recent single “Coordinate of Tomorrow” — drew inspiration from the line, “I met the echo that smiled at me,” reflecting the belief that music can mirror the planet’s joy when humanity gives back to nature.
A Digital Forest for the Future
The Echo Tree digital platform enables individuals and organisations to participate in the initiative through an “Adopt-a-Tree” campaign, granting companies a customised forest map and a permanent digital footprint on the platform. Each participating organisation will also receive a Sustainability Story Page, documenting its progress in ESG performance, carbon management, and community impact — blending storytelling, data, and engagement to inspire accountability.
ECHO TREE GROUP INC. is also integrating RWA (Real World Asset) digital asset management technology into the initiative, allowing for traceable carbon credit development and transparent value exchange. This approach positions Echo Tree at the intersection of blockchain-enabled sustainability and creative economy innovation — where music, enterprise, and digital ecosystems collaborate for measurable climate impact.
“We want to turn goodwill into tangible environmental action,” said Kevin Yi, Co-Founder of the Echo Tree Project. “By planting 30 million Echo Trees worldwide, we hope to transform emotional resonance into real-world regeneration — one song, one seed, and one story at a time.”
A New Model for Carbon Collaboration
The Echo Tree Project represents a broader shift in how carbon initiatives are being redefined across Asia — moving beyond corporate reporting frameworks to experiential engagement models that blend art, technology, and nature-based solutions. With its vision of planting 30 million trees globally, Echo Tree is building a creative bridge between climate responsibility and cultural influence, turning sustainability into a shared performance where everyone has a part to play.
As global enterprises and artists collaborate under its canopy, the project demonstrates how cultural innovation can amplify environmental finance, helping to grow a “green forest of hope” that transcends borders, sectors, and industries.
